@dbongino @therealbcp I got to thinking after listening to Dan Bongino today. Sometimes it is difficult to make the right decision, but in the long run, it is usually more difficult to undo the results of a wrong choice. Lesson to self: take the time to make the right choice even when making that choice is hard to make. Everyone’s past is littered with stupid choices. Learn the lesson from those failures and move on. Sin, the thing that peaks our guilt can be a tool or a weapon. One can choose to bury themselves in a shroud of guilt and use that guilt as a weapon to punish themselves, or one can use that voice inside of themselves that says “this is not who you are or how it’s done” and learn from that insight. Learn the lesson from the guilt and use it as a tool to guide yourself and make better choices. Guilt is a tool, not a sentence.
